PhotoJewelryMaking.com Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly IS photo jewelry, anyways?

Photo jewelry is a fun and easy craft that anyone can do! We sell blank photo pendants, photo rings, photo bracelets, photo charms, photo cufflinks, and many more cool and unique photo products. All of the items have a blank area for a photo. We sell many different sizes of do it yourself kits. These kits include everything that you need to make a complete item.

How do you get the picture so small?

Before our EZ Photo Resizer existed, making your digital photos just the right size for photo jewelry could take hours of guesswork and wasting paper only to still have them not fit right! With our EZ resizer, all you do is select your photo, insert the size for your product, and print! The corresponding size will be on the product listing for the item you purchased. You can also make custom sizes for other projects, such as printing an image to fit perfectly into a scrapbook template, resizing images to wallet size, etc.

Okay..so after I print my pictures, then what? How do you seal the photo into the jewelry?

Our products use a couple of quick and easy methods.

Seal-Itz: For our jewelry with glass covers, you wil use Seal-Itz strips. Seal-Itz strips are ultra strong double sided clear adhesive strips that seal the glass to the photo, and the glass/photo piece into the frame. Here is a link to our tutorials: Photo Jewelry Making Tutorials.

Krystal Clear-Itz: Krystal Clear-Itz are semi-flexible adhesive epoxy photo jewelry clear covers.  For best results, we recommend using a Seal-Itz strip for adhering the covered photo into the frame as the adhesive is very strong, but you can also use your own glue for this step if you wish.

What if I want to put something else into the photo frame besides a picture? Can I do that?

Absolutely! We have many customers that use our blank photo pieces for other craft projects such as inserting pieces of fabric, lace, buttons, beads, cameos, and more.
